Installation Tools

Most of the architectural window films in the Apex Window Films line-up are easy to install with just a few basic tools that you may already have around your home, you will receive full instructions on how to install your window films along with your order or you can visit our Window Film Installation Instructions Page on our website.  For most projects, the basic tools required to install window film are:  Razor scraper, snap-blade knife, hard card of 5-way tool, tape measure, spray bottle, baby shampoo, distilled water, low-lint paper towels or shop towels, a straight edge and of course a squeegee.  For thicker window films, like security film, we do recommend the use of a 'professional' grade, heavy-duty squeegee for best results.  If you don't have these tools, or aren't sure of their quality, we offer the following installation kits and tools - please scroll down to view our selection.
